East Bay Center, Inc. provides quality behavioral healthcare primarily in the East Bay region of Rhode Island as well as all of Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts. We offer a full continuum of community-based, home and office based behavioral health treatment and prevention services to adults, children and families. We are available 24/7 for persons in crisis or present imminent risk and may need acute psychiatric hospitalization.

 LICENSING
The Center is licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals (BHDDH), and is certified by the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF).

 ACCREDITATION
The Center has been nationally accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) since 1996.

 FUNDING
As a private, non-profit corporation, East Bay Center is financially supported in several ways:

• Matching-grant funds from BHDDH
• Contracts with the Rhode Island Department for Children and Their Families (DCYF)
• Appropriations from East Providence, Barrington, Warren, and Bristol
• Grants and contracts for specific programs
• First- and third-party payments
• Donations
