EMERGENCY CRISIS INTERVENTION SERVICES
Emergency Crisis Intervention Services (ECIS) is available twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week and provides crisis evaluations to persons who
present imminent risk for self harm and harm to others. When imminent risk is present, this team facilitates admission to an acute psychiatric hospital and
subsequently collaborates with area hospitals to develop appropriate discharge and after care plans for clients to be treated within the community.
When imminent risk is not present, this team matches the needs of the individual and their situation to a wide range of services available at East Bay Center. This
step by step process allows clients to obtain the most appropriate services in the least restrictive environment. BEHAVIORAL HEALTH RESPONSE TEAM The Behavioral Health Response Team provides disaster response twenty-four (24)
