We understand the challenges facing children and families and offer services to address depression, anxiety, addictions, behavior management, response to trauma and violence recovery, school difficulties and medication. We provide help and support in a number of ways to fit the needs of many situations.

East Bay Center helped 616 children last year improve their behavior at home and focus at school on improving their academic performance.

Emergency Services and Crisis Intervention - Our emergency services are available around the clock on a 24/7 basis, with admission to psychiatric hospital if necessary. We work closely with community providers, primary care docs and hospitals, and know how to respond in a crisis and evaluate the level of care needed to resolve the crisis. Our Emergency Services number is (401) 246-0700.

Counseling
- We provide counseling in the setting most appropriate to the needs of the client: school, community or our offices. Ultimately, we do whatever is needed to provide the most effective setting to help our clients gain the support and coping skills to deal with the stressors of daily life.

Behavior Management/Parenting - We work with families to help address behavior issues which negatively impact functioning within the home, school, or community, and, ultimately, to improve functioning for greater success in life.

Case Management and Care Coordination - We work with people involved in your child's life or the family's life to best coordinate care. Our goal is optimal functioning within a family and communication among people who are working together to support the family.

Medication Monitoring - We evaluate, prescribe and monitor prescription medications to attain a therapeutic result while minimizing side effects.
